Growing up, I was told that sciences “weren’t for girls.” But even as a teenager in the 1970s, I refused to let others define what I could achieve.
When I learned about an IT science project teaching students how to communicate with computers, I signed up despite skepticism. I discovered not only programming but also how to break complex problems into manageable steps—a skill that has guided me ever since.
That early experience taught me resilience—the ability to thrive where I wasn’t expected to succeed.
And that resilience helped me overcome several pivotal challenges that shaped who I am today.

With over 20 years of experience as a consultant and coach, I’ve worked across industries—from startups to corporations and public administration—helping leaders navigate complexity, eliminate busy work, and reclaim their time.
MY STORY
After taking on more responsibility in my early career, I was denied a pay raise. The reason? “You’re a woman, and we don’t assign these kinds of jobs to women.”
Instead of accepting this, I took a bold step—leaving Germany, driving across the American continent in a junk car, and rebooting my life in San Francisco: As a Sales Assistant for a 5-Star Hotel.
That journey and immersing myself in a foreign culture taught me just how much I was capable of achieving.
When I returned to Germany after a visa rejection, I broke into the logistics industry as a Sales Executive, a heavily male-dominated field.
I not only earned a leadership role but thrived—proving that success comes from competence, persistence, and staying true to yourself.

At Haus der Technik, as Head of Human Potential Development, I led strategic initiatives to empower mid-sized companies with customized leadership programs, focusing on talent management, succession planning, and intercultural competence.
These experiences strengthened my ability to design leadership pathways that merge personal growth with organizational success, an approach that now informs my AI and leadership consulting.
Throughout my career, I have stepped into leadership roles that required navigating complexity and driving impact.
As Program Director for Common Purpose Rhineland, I designed and facilitated leadership programs that brought together regional executives, cross-sector leaders, and changemakers to break silos, foster innovation, and develop sustainable leadership strategies.
Seeing firsthand how diverse perspectives fuel transformation reaffirmed my belief in collaborative leadership as a driving force for success.
